He commandeth that there shall be no priest-crafts; for, behold, priest-crafts are that men preach and set themselves up for a light unto the world, that they may get gain, and praise of the world; but they seek not the welfare of Zion.

Changes

He commandeth that there shall be no priest-crafts; for, behold, priest-crafts are that men preach and set themselves up for a light unto the world, that they may get gain, and praise of the world; but they seek not the welfare of Zion.

Simple English

He says there should be no priest-crafts. Priest-crafts are when men preach and set themselves up as a light to the world to get money and praise from the world. But they don’t care about the welfare of Zion.

Paraphrase

He commands that there be no priestcraft. Priestcraft is when people preach and set themselves up as a light to the world so they can make money and win praise—but they don’t care about the welfare of Zion.
