2 Nephi 26:16

for they which shall be destroyed shall speak unto them out of the ground, and their speech shall be low out of the dust, and their voice shall be as one that hath a familiar spirit; for the Lord God will give unto him power, that he may whisper concerning them, even as it were out of the ground; and their speech shall whisper out of the dust.

Those who are destroyed will speak to them from the ground. Their speech will be quiet from the dust. Their voice will be like a whisper. The Lord God will give him power to whisper about them from the ground. Their speech will whisper from the dust.

Those who are destroyed will speak from the ground. Their speech will be quiet, rising from the dust. Their voice will be like a whisper from the dead. The Lord God will give power so that they may whisper from the ground—their speech whispering out of the dust.
