2 Nephi 10:5

but because of priest-crafts and iniquities, they at Jerusalem will stiffen their necks against him, that he be crucified.

But the people in Jerusalem are stubborn because of false teachers and evil. They will not accept him. So he will be killed on a cross.

But in Jerusalem, because of religious corruption and evil, they’ll harden their hearts against him and crucify him.
