2 Nephi 1:20

and he hath said, that inasmuch as ye shall keep my commandments, ye shall prosper in the land; but inasmuch as ye will not keep my commandments, ye shall be cut off from my presence.

“He has said that if you keep my commands, you will do well in the land. But if you do not keep my commands, you will be cut off from my presence.”

“He’s said it clearly: if you keep my commands, you’ll thrive in this land. But if you don’t, you’ll be cut off from me.”
