1 Nephi 8:2

And it came to pass that while my father tarried in the wilderness, he spake unto us, saying: Behold, I have dreamed a dream; or, in other words, I have seen a vision.

While my father stayed in the wilderness, he spoke to us, saying: 'I have dreamed a dream. In other words, I have seen a vision.'

While we camped in the wilderness, my father told us: 'I’ve had a dream—a vision from God.'
