1 Nephi 3:31

And after that the angel had departed, Laman and Lemuel again began to murmur, saying, how is it possible that the Lord will deliver Laban into our hands? Behold he is a mighty man, and he can command fifty, yea, even he can slay fifty; then why not us?

After the angel left, Laman and Lemuel started complaining again. They said: How can the Lord help us get Laban? He is a strong man. He has fifty men who obey him. He can kill fifty people. So why not us?

After the angel disappeared, Laman and Lemuel started complaining again. 'How can the Lord deliver Laban to us? He’s powerful—he commands fifty men. He could kill fifty men. What chance do we have?'
