1 Nephi 3:26

And it came to pass that we did flee before the servants of Laban, and we were obliged to leave behind our property, and it fell into the hands of Laban.

We ran away from Laban’s servants. We had to leave our things behind. Laban got all our stuff.

We ran for our lives, abandoning all our property. Laban kept it all.
