1 Nephi 22:23

for the time speedily shall come, that all churches which are built up to get gain, and all they which are built up to get power over the flesh, and they which are built up to become popular in the eyes of the world, and they which seek the lusts of the flesh and the things of the world, and to do all manner of iniquity; yea, in fine, all they which belong to the kingdom of the Devil, it is they which need fear, and tremble, and quake; it is they which must be brought low in the dust; it is they which must be consumed as stubble: and this is according to the words of the prophet.

The time is coming quickly when all churches built to make money will be destroyed. Churches built to get power over people will be destroyed. Churches built to become popular or to get earthly pleasures and do evil things will be destroyed. All of these belong to the devil’s kingdom. They need to be afraid and shake with fear. They will be brought down and destroyed like dry grass. This is what the prophet said.

“the time is coming soon when every church built for profit, every organization built to control people, everything created to gain popularity or chase worldly desires and do evil—in short, everything that belongs to the devil’s kingdom—these are the ones who should fear and tremble and shake. These will be brought down to the dust and consumed like dry straw. This is what the prophet said.”
