Simple English

So he will protect good people with his power. Even if his full anger must come, good people will be kept safe while their enemies are destroyed by fire. So good people do not need to be afraid. The prophet says they will be saved, like being saved from fire.

Paraphrase

“He’ll protect the righteous by his power. Even if his full anger must come, the righteous will be preserved while their enemies are destroyed by fire. So the righteous have nothing to fear. As the prophet says, “They’ll be saved, though it may be like passing through fire.””
