Thus saith the Lord, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, O isles of the sea, and in a day of savlation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee my servant for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages:

The Lord says: “At the right time I have heard you, islands of the sea. On the day of salvation I have helped you. I will keep you safe. I will give you my servant to make a promise with the people. You will establish the earth. You will make the empty lands inhabited again.”

Paraphrase

This is what the Lord says: “At just the right time, I heard you, you distant shores. On the day of rescue, I helped you. I will protect you and make you my servant, a promise to the people. You’ll rebuild the land and reclaim what was left in ruins.”
