yea, and ye also know that Moses, by his word, according to the power of God which was in him, smote the rock, and there came forth water, that the children of Israel might quench their thirst;

Simple English

You also know that Moses hit a rock with God’s power that was in him. Water came out so the children of Israel could drink.

Paraphrase

“You know Moses struck the rock with God’s power, and water poured out so the Israelites could drink.”
