1 Nephi 17:18

And thus my brethren did complain against me, and were desirous that they might not labor, for they did not believe that I could build a ship; neither would they believe that I was instructed of the Lord.

My brothers kept complaining about me. They didn’t want to work. They didn’t believe I could build a ship. They didn’t believe the Lord had taught me.

They kept complaining about me and refused to help with the work. They didn’t believe I could build a ship or that the Lord was teaching me how.
