1 Nephi 16:9

And it came to pass that the voice of the Lord spake unto my father, by night, and commanded him, that on the morrow, he should take his journey into the wilderness.

The voice of the Lord spoke to my father at night. It told him to take his journey into the wilderness the next day.

During the night, the Lord spoke to my father, commanding him to leave in the morning and journey into the wilderness.
