1 Nephi 16:1

And now it came to pass that after I, Nephi, had made an end of speaking to my brethren, behold, they said unto me, Thou hast declared unto us hard things, more than that which we are able to bear.

After I, Nephi, finished speaking to my brothers, they said to me: “You have told us hard things. They are harder than we can bear.”

After I finished speaking, my brothers said to me: “What you’ve told us is too hard to accept. We can’t handle it.”
