1 Nephi 14:12

And it came to pass that I beheld the church of the Lamb of God, and its numbers were few, because of the wickedness and abominations of the whore which sat upon many waters; nevertheless, I beheld that the church of the Lamb, which were the Saints of God, were also upon all the face of the earth; and their dominion upon the face of the earth was small, because of the wickedness of the great whore which I saw.

Then I saw the church of the Lamb of God. There were only a few people in it because of the wickedness and evil things done by the prostitute who sat on many waters. But I saw that the church of the Lamb, who were God’s people, were also all over the earth. Their power on the earth was small because of the wickedness of the great prostitute I saw.

Then I saw the church of the Lamb of God. Its members were few because the prostitute who sat on many waters was so wicked and corrupt. Still, I saw the Lamb’s church—God’s holy people—scattered across the whole earth. But their influence was small because of the great prostitute’s wickedness.
