1 Nephi 13:26

and after that they go forth by the hand of the twelve apostles of the Lamb, from the Jews unto the Gentiles; behold, after this, thou seest the foundation of a great and abominable church, which is the most abominable above all other churches; for behold, they have taken away from the Gospel of the Lamb, many parts which are plain and most precious; and also, many Covenants of the Lord have they taken away;

After they go by the hand of the twelve apostles of the Lamb, from the Jewish people to the Gentiles, you see the beginning of a great and terrible church. This is the most terrible above all other churches. They have taken away from the gospel of the Lamb many parts that are clear and very precious. They have also taken away many of God’s promises.
