And I looked and beheld a man among the Gentiles, which was separated from the seed of my brethren by the many waters; and I beheld the spirit of God, that it came down and wrought upon the man; and he went forth upon the many waters, even unto the seed of my brethren, which were in the promised land.

Simple English

I looked and saw a man among the Gentiles. The many waters separated him from my brothers’ descendants. I saw the Spirit of God come down on this man. He traveled across the many waters to my brothers’ descendants who were in the promised land.

Paraphrase

I saw a man among the Gentiles, separated from my brothers” descendants by the ocean. God’s Spirit moved him powerfully, and he sailed across the waters to reach my brothers” descendants in the promised land.
