1 Nephi 13:10

And it came to pass that I looked and beheld many waters; and they divided the Gentiles from the seed of my brethren.

Then I looked and saw many waters. These waters separated the Gentiles from my brothers’ descendants.

I looked and saw vast oceans separating the Gentiles from my brothers” descendants.
