And it came to pass that the spirit saith unto me, look! and I looked and beheld a tree; and it was like unto the tree which my father had seen; and the beauty thereof was far beyond, yea, exceeding of all beauty; and the whiteness thereof, did exceed the whiteness of the driven snow.

Simple English

Then the Spirit said to me, “Look!” I looked and saw a tree. It was like the tree my father had seen. It was more beautiful than anything else. It was whiter than snow.

Paraphrase

The Spirit said, “Look!” I looked and saw a tree just like the one my father had seen. It was more beautiful than anything I’d ever imagined—whiter than fresh snow.
