1 Nephi 1:6

And it came to pass, as he prayed unto the Lord, there came a pillar of fire and dwelt upon a rock before him; and he saw and heard much; and because of the things which he saw and heard, he did quake and tremble exceedingly.

As he prayed to the Lord, a pillar of fire came and stayed on a rock in front of him. He saw and heard much. Because of what he saw and heard, he shook and trembled.

While he prayed, a pillar of fire appeared and settled on a rock in front of him. What he saw and heard shook him to his core—he couldn't stop trembling.
