1 Nephi 1:16

And now I, Nephi, do not make a full account of the things which my father hath written, for he hath written many things which he saw in visions and in dreams; and he also hath written many things which he prophesied and spake unto his children, of which I shall not make a full account.

I do not make a full account of the things my father has written. He has written many things he saw in visions and dreams. He has also written many things he prophesied and spoke to his children. I will not make a full account of these things.

I won't write down everything my father recorded. He wrote about many visions and dreams, and many prophecies he shared with his children.
